In my 40+ years of graphic design, I finally see you are doing something that combines the beauty of a static image (real photography) with the novel surprise of motion. Extremely well done. Thanks for the inside look...fascinating. Enjoyed it (almost) as much as this recently discovered footage of the making of Disneyland (Alexx, you gotta love Disney...he was a creative genius too). http://www.neatorama.com/2009/07/27/disneyland-construction-time-lapse/ There are 6 parts total. This can of 16mm was almost lost to the deep salt mine archives, but someone saw "Disney" on the label and opened it up. Enjoy!

Actually we did a few versions early on that looped, but that wasn't how they were going to be used by the client, so we abandoned them. I disagree with the implication that a loopable clip is the goal, or even the assertion that it is not valid because it is simply experienced once. The strength of these living one-sheets is in the exploitation of the context- a set of expectations and boundaries were implied and then violated for the effect.

But… they… don’t loop. Why was I expecting them to loop? I know why, because that would actually be impressive. This is just video with paused video at either end, with similar poses between start and finish.

Yes, the technology has improved but this has still not been executed for a real world situation ie a continuous experience for everyone, not just one viewer. Anyone with a 5D mark II and a ton of continuous lighting could do exactly the same thing.
